June 30, 2008 -- CyWire announces site launch http://www.cywire.com. The developers of the successful StargateWorldsGame.com are delighted to announce the launch of a totally new website for the SciFi and Games community. CyWire will not only focus on Stargate Worlds community news but will also be able to broaden the viewer's overlapping interests. The new site provides users with comprehensive tools to stay in touch with their favorite SciFi shows and PC Games. There is, of course, the latest industry News but CyWire also allows for user submit options for members to interface more with the community.

Echoing the sentiments of all parties involved in the site’s construction, Brett Snyder, CyWire Owner, commented, “User driven evolving content, pushes the new site to be not only informative but an accessible publishing tool in our increasingly interactive online environment.”

CyWire members will also have options to create their own web journals. This has proven to be a good avenue of expression for those not wanting to post a news tip but have thoughts they want published or for role playing creativity.

Other notable site features are member Photo Albums, Event Calendars with notification, robust forums, member Groups and Guilds, CyTube videos with member picks, radio stations, IRC chat and Arcade tournaments...just to name a few.

One thing that may set CyWire.com apart is the ability for members to customize the site. Members can change the site style and colors from the top newsbar "Choose Theme", select a new forum skin color; or customize a direct link personal profile page with custom colors and background images.

Build a Guild

A Guild is just an organized group of gamers with a common theme or mission. Guilds should have a Banner Logo (128px) and can be joined three ways...Open (Anyone), Approval (Anyone can apply), Invite (Private Invitation). The benefits to joining or creating your own Guild is proven mmo strategies and better friendships. An organized team with assigned roles is a force to be reckoned with. Read through the different Guild mission statements and if none appeal to your taste create your own Guild. Each Guild group can create bulletins and group emails that will help keep you in sync. Plus you may add your Guild comrades to your profile Connections for a simple buddy list.
