SG-1 is captured by the Lucian Alliance and discovers that Ba'al has been stealing stargates in an attempt to rebuild his empire.
- After the events on Tegalus, SG-1 was the first to receive the new subcutaneous locator chip implants.
- Colonel Emerson, commanding the Odyssey on its shakedown cruise, was called into action to rescue SG-1 from P6G-452.
- Netan is the head of the Lucian Alliance.
- Kassa, an agricultural crop similar to corn containing an engineered and highly addictive psychostimulant, is grown by the Lucian Alliance. Two-thirds of the crop controlled by the Lucian Alliance is grown on P6G-452.
- Nerus had been studying the stargate system for months to help defeat the Replicators, and stumbled upon a way to disable the correlative update program so a stargate could be moved without having it transmit its new position to the rest of the network.
