Amazing! I'm stoked about SGW! Having been a WoW player since Dec 2004 when that first came out and am looking forward to being present for the birth of Stargate Worlds! I'm curious how alike WoW and SGW will be but I'm hoping they'll be different in more than just the content and story lines.
In an age where technology reins and games are the prime choice for spare time wasting, I've tried many different avenues of gaming. Consoles lately are more expensive than ever and have very limited selections in the games and type of games they offer the geeks who drool over them. Handhelds are more up my alley when I travel and I've warmed up to the Nintendo DS. However, the #1 game market right now is undoubtedly the PC games especially the MMORPG types: StarWars Galaxies, World of Warcraft, City of Heroes, EverQuest Online, Lord of the Rings, and who know how many others...
Not even the #1 Console game, Halo (1-2-&3) can keep up with the fanatical droves who proclaim MMOs... and I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that SGW will top even EQ and WoW. Besides that, the screenshots look frelling amazing and I'm hoping gameplay has the same visual outcome. The commercials on SciFi certain allude to it being so.
