Hi there fellow stargate freaks. I am 31 years old and live in Sunny Ft.Lauderdale, Florida (Snow whats that?). I came home from college and my Mom was watching an episode of Stargate from Season 1 in 1996. I had seen the movie and loved it so I decided to sit down and watch. I have been hooked ever since.
My all time favorite episode of SG-1 is Window of Opportunity. My all time Favorite Atlantis episode is Sateda.
I am the only one in my group of friends who watch Stargate who can understand Sam and Rodney. I have an uncanny ability to remember the episodes and the lore of stargate so I can pretty much answer most questions.
I also have a full proof way of getting friends into Stargate. To date I have turned 6 anti stargate people into Stargate freaks.

Yes, welcome to the site. I too would like this fool proof converting way. My way is a long and painful(for me) way to get people to like stargate.

1st - you need to have at least SG-1 Season 1 box set and the Stargate movie handy.
2nd - You need to make a bet with the person. If your anything like me you would talk to much about Stargate to your friend. Tell them that they need to watch the movie all the way to the end. Warn them that Episodes 2-4 or 5 are very slow, but hang in there and the show will get better. If you still don't like the show after the season finnally then you never talk about Stargate to them.
This method is how I get everyone hooked on the show. Do not give them Season 2. This is vital because the season ends on such a huge cliff hanger they will beg you to let them borrow season 2.
Thus ends the lesson. LOL

A Guild is just an organized group of gamers with a common theme or mission. Guilds should have a Banner Logo (128px) and can be joined three ways...Open (Anyone), Approval (Anyone can apply), Invite (Private Invitation). The benefits to joining or creating your own Guild is proven mmo strategies and better friendships. An organized team with assigned roles is a force to be reckoned with. Read through the different Guild mission statements and if none appeal to your taste create your own Guild. Each Guild group can create bulletins and group emails that will help keep you in sync. Plus you may add your Guild comrades to your profile Connections for a simple buddy list.
