Hi everyone! My name's Jen and I'm completely new to this whole thing. I've been an avid Stargate fan since the release of the original movie way back when. I will have to say that I'm of an Atlantis girl as opposed to SG1 but it's hard NOT to be a fan of SG1 since that's where it all started.

So in other words, I have no favorite, lol.

When I say I'm "new to this whole thing" I'm referring to RPGs. So...that said - and without sounding horribly pathetic - what now?

First of all, welcome! I too am more of a fan of Atlantis, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE all of them and am looking forward to the SG Universe that I read about on Wikipedia.

RPGs are nice because they allow you to be who you wish to be unhindered by the confines of RL taboos and preconceived goals and aspirations; you get to be totally awesome! You'll catch on real fast. It's easy. And soon, you'll be just like the rest of us... professional nerds! KEK!

So, what now? Sit back, stew a bit, and (just like the rest of us) wait impatiently for A) a beta invite, or

the game to hit stores! Try not to get too anxious, it's a hazard I've learned about.

Build a Guild

A Guild is just an organized group of gamers with a common theme or mission. Guilds should have a Banner Logo (128px) and can be joined three ways...Open (Anyone), Approval (Anyone can apply), Invite (Private Invitation). The benefits to joining or creating your own Guild is proven mmo strategies and better friendships. An organized team with assigned roles is a force to be reckoned with. Read through the different Guild mission statements and if none appeal to your taste create your own Guild. Each Guild group can create bulletins and group emails that will help keep you in sync. Plus you may add your Guild comrades to your profile Connections for a simple buddy list.
