This is from Gren at CME:
Stargate Worlds Community,
Today a change was made regarding the role of the Katie Postma as the Community Manager for Stargate Worlds. It was decided that at the current stage of game development, it was required to have our Community Manager in-house.
As much as we love Katie and her amazing contributions to the SGW community, we are at a point where we need someone local, sitting in the studio to accelerate communication channels between our game developers and the community in the coming months. James Delaney, Stargate fan and avid MMORPG player, has agreed to fill this position and we're excited to have him on board.
The opening of the beta phase of development will substantially change how the community is utilized. Game dynamics, feedback, notes, and bug testing, and a whole slew of other items need to be at the core of the community dialogue so we over here can produce the game as polished as possible.
Katie's contributions both within the company and to the community cannot be overstated. It was not an easy decision to be taken lightly and she has been very supportive.
As we move closer to launch, James will be focusing in on community relations as it relates to a real-time dialogue between you as the player, and the studio. In the coming weeks there will be some changes on the forum regarding how we communicate with you. Please stay tuned and get ready for the start of Beta!
Please join me in thanking Katie for her tireless dedication to the community and passion for Stargate Worlds.
Thanks,
Gren
We are all going to miss you. Thanks for your hard work Khatie.
I guess a warm welcome goes out to James Delaney.
