What exactly do u mean, like combat wise--->p-90's vs. staff weapons, or mother ship weapons vs. our gunnery's and asgard beam's, or earth based technology vs. alien tech, a little more specific please.

Well the P90 is good againist the Staff Weaponry, Mothership weaponry is well frankly hardcore but earth has the sheer domination to use our tech to the best. I haven't seen the Goa'uld equavilent to C4...I really hope they experiement with Nitroglycerin...I love the hold explody aspect of it.

Ok to be more specific, is the P-90 the best way to go for our forces across the galaxy? Should they be outfitted with a different weapon or a greater diversity of weapons?

Well, we need more types of weapons. Really a P90, M60, and a M16/M203 are the only major weapons used. I mean the XM8 would be a nice alternative for the P90 and the M16/M203. They should atleast have the choice. The occasion MP5 is seen but rarely at best. I wonder, do the asgard have small arms? (No jokes...I am talking about the weapons)

Well looking at the latest interview the Asgard use drones as their weapons and armor so to answer...maybe? Seems like they will have the drones equipped with some sort of short ranged weapon, be it beam or projectile. Another thing that bugs me is the lack of snipers and their rifles. Why in the blue blazes would an expeditionary force that knows that there are enemies out there not have sniper support? 50 cal through the armor plating of a Jaffa? I think yes.

heh heh heh Check out the Arctic Warfare rifles. If the SGC would use a sniper, I think that would be it.
If the asgard have some sort of small arms tech why don't they share it with use?

Ah now see, your bringing a little bit of COD into this now eh? Well I tottaly agree about the sniper rifle. You would definitly need some long range support.

Sniper support. Yes. They need that. Poor enemies. lol As for other weapons, most Tau'ri tech seems to get the job done, so if it's not broken, why fix it? A good standard set of equipment would be this: P90, two Zat'nika'tels, two Traveler Handguns (the thing that Ronon uses), 8 grenades, 4 flash-bangs, 12 C-4, and mission specific equipment. With those, pretty much any combat situation could be handled.

As for sharing it's their whole not to advance a race too quickly thing I believe. All the upgrades they helped us with were also defensive in nature though we did manage to use some offensively.

A Guild is just an organized group of gamers with a common theme or mission. The benefits to joining or creating your own Guild is proven mmo strategies and better friendships. An organized team with assigned roles is a force to be reckoned with. Read through the different Guild mission statements and if none appeal to your taste create your own Guild. Each Guild group can create bulletins and group emails that will help keep you in sync. Plus you may add your Guild comrades to your profile Connections for a simple buddy list.
