I stated this in a post already, but if more people have this problem they might miss that post so I'll make a new thread for it. This is more a work-around than a fix.

If you get that "Sorry, your score could not be saved" message instead of clicking any of the on-screen buttons, immediately click the refresh on your browser and it should then save your score. Used to happen to me all the time when I'd test out the arcade games and that always worked for me. Try it out if you get that message. I use firefox so I'm not 100% sure if it works for internet explorer though.

Also try this:

- Click to play asteroids so the screen comes up, don't start your game yet but right click on the asteroids screen, adobe flash player settings should come up, click on the settings, go to local storage and increase the amount of storage to 10MB or unlimited. 10MB should be plenty though. Also make sure you have the latest version of adobe flash player, which is version 9.0.124.0

As I was reading some comments and people said the error is based on how long they have been playing, it could be the adobe players local storage filling up and not allowing the score to send. Report back to this thread to let me know if that relieves the problem, thanks.

Other tips:
- Play only one game at a time.
- Do not do any other browsing while you are in the middle of a game. Because of a security feature of IE and possibly Firefox that may kick in when you have other pages open.

Having read your post in the other thread I tried this one out, but it doesn't seem to work for me in IE (7.0.5730.11). The funny thing is I seem to get the error 100% of the time when I play one game (Word Flip) but only occaisionally when I try other games.

I'm going to try a different browser and see if that makes a difference.

I just replicated my error using Firefox. I'm still unsure why the error seems more common for me in certain games.

Refreshing didn't solve it for me in Firefox either.

I see in your profile that you have saved a game score at least once. Browser or connection issues?

Our server is a fast quadcore setup so it should be able to handle all the players. Could be that all the players attempting to play/save at once in the beginning of the contest...better at night when less are online? Whatever it is, sorry you and some others are having issues.

Yeah it worked pretty well with my first score, but after that there is the problem every time i play longer than 30mins

Hmph, that trick has worked for me every time. Wonder why it isn't for you guys. Anyway, sorry about problems it is causing. Hopefully we can pinpoint the problem.
