So what was Anubis' mother ship called, because it was surrounded by 30 Ha'tak vessels but it was 1/10 the size of Anubis' mother ship.

I think you have that backwards. The Goa'uld have the technology and teh Wraith have the numbers.

Yes, the Wraith hives are massive. But since they have no shielding they are very vulnerable to hit and run raiding and beam weapons. They have the real bonus of regeneration ability but only typically helps after the battle not during it. Still their mass and weapons do many times give them plenty of strength to take more damage without shields than a smaller ship with shields. In ways it balances it out but I still give the Wraith the edge with their huge ships and massive numbers.

Wraith ships do have shielding, you have seen them many times in battle. Unless i'm mistaken.

Can't recall ever seeing them have shields, or seeing shots on their ships being absorbed. Not sure what you mean by "seen them many times in battle"? As far as I can remember any shot that lands on their cruisers/hives causes a explosion because its hitting the hull instead of being absorbed by a shield.

The wraith don't really have shields per se. What they do have instead is the ability to regenerate parts of the ships hull. They gladly take the pounding and just regenerate.

I didn't know that the wraith ships could regenerate their ships hulls? Are you sure about that?

Yeah I'm quite sure about it. In "Be All my Sins Remembered" in this last season, one Wraith ship takes damage and the wraith on the console says "transferring all non-critical systems to hull regeneration". Also, since Wraith ships don't have shields when they go into hyperspace their organic hulls take damage from hyperspace radiation. So because of this they have to routinely drop out of hyperspace let their hulls regenerate and then jump back into hyperspace. Their was a episode that showed this but I can't recall the name of it. It was the one where Col. Sheppard attaches his 302 to a hive ship before it entered hyperspace while Ronon and Mckay are captive.

Ya never mind. The ships can actually regenerate their hulls. Their ships are grown, not manufactured, so it only makes sense. But I still think the goa'uld would win
