Hey all! My name is James and I'm 22 and live in the metro Atlanta area. I've been watching stargate SG1 for years and remember seeing the movie way back in when I was a wee lad.
I am an electrition (subcontractor, commercial and residental.) But am currently shopping around for a new job lol. Any time i don't spend at work is spent playing games and sleeping... I cut back on the sleep to catch up on my gaming ofcourse

Gaming experiance: the only real online gaming I ever did other than wow was Diablo and some diablo II. Love gaming and spend just about every sec of my free time on it. Currently my Warrior is level 66 (bout to ding) but I'm really just waisting time till SGW comes out. I still plan to play wow but will spend far less time on it. (Prob just stick to arena, daileys and bgs in wow once sgw comes out)

I was at a friends house surfing the net when I stumbled across the Stargateworlds website, at the time I didn't have a pc and hadn't had one for quite a few years and withen three weeks of learning of a stargate pc game I went out and bought a computer. lol gotta have my gate!

SGW info: I'm a member of the System lord guild and my main will be Goa'uld and my alt will be a loyal jaffa.

I plan to throw myself head first into as much PvE and PvP content as possable on launch. I really wanna take full of whatever content CME throws my way.

Well Welcome to the site and the community. It looks like, from the IGN interview that PvP will be an evolving entity of the game, smaller things to start and eventually leading to BG's and things of that nature so PvP will be viable for you as you learn your System Lord.

Yeah I read that interview and was very pleased. I just wanna play a stargate game man, doesn't matter the style or content, just so happens i like mmo's and PVP lol. I love gaming and all but I'm not what hardcore gamers would consider a hardcore gamer(not enough expieriance yet) but with stargate your just expected to be a hardcore gatefan which is one of the MANY reasons why this game will do so good.

I think alot of decent players are going to beome hardcore gamers because of this game. I mean i'm already addicted and its not even out yet lol.

I'm serious, this game is going to break familys up lol. I'll never have a tan again dude. But oh how happy I will be

Being what many would consider a hardcore gamer, a veteran of all kinds of games across all sorts of systems I;ll just say experience doesn't mean jack. As long as you enjoy what you're playing and are having fun that's all that matters. So I think you're in for a great time.

Build a Guild

A Guild is just an organized group of gamers with a common theme or mission. Guilds should have a Banner Logo (128px) and can be joined three ways...Open (Anyone), Approval (Anyone can apply), Invite (Private Invitation). The benefits to joining or creating your own Guild is proven mmo strategies and better friendships. An organized team with assigned roles is a force to be reckoned with. Read through the different Guild mission statements and if none appeal to your taste create your own Guild. Each Guild group can create bulletins and group emails that will help keep you in sync. Plus you may add your Guild comrades to your profile Connections for a simple buddy list.
