Well given that the basis of all most all combat in the movie and series' is weapons based I would think that it would mostly be a third person shooter, that is also going off of the teaser trailer. I am just curious as to how the levels will work as far as new skills go, will they be skills that you can use in combat or will they be passive skills that inmprove your combat prowess or possibly have something to do with weapons and armor upgrades? I have the questions, just no answers.

The Devs could still have the First person perspective as an available option. not to run oblivion into the ground or anything but in that game you could use both effectively.

Having 3rd person view is better than 1st person view in a MMORPG because you can see your surroundings and see enemies trying to flank you and well, pretty much see whats happening during a battle. It'll be much better to have 3rd person view, trust me. And also, you get to admire your cool looking armor (whcih you can't do in 1st Person).

I have played the new Tabula Rasa recently and the new AI is without question the system of the future. It’s not just a, you hit it, it hits you and the most DGM points wins out. The respawn is never in the same place (more or less), and you can use cover to reduce DMG to yourself and take on higher-level NPC’s. And the periodic attacks by NPC’s on random bases is a blast. If you fail to repel the attack they will take over the base and hold it until you mount a force large enough to take it back.
However, I don’t know if this AI is in industry wide use as yet. I’ve played so many MMO’s and have grown fairly comfortable with the character abilities and skills that have become the industry standard. I am really looking forward to seeing just what new twists that the folks at Cheyenne Mountain are coming up with.

Build a Guild

A Guild is just an organized group of gamers with a common theme or mission. Guilds should have a Banner Logo (128px) and can be joined three ways...Open (Anyone), Approval (Anyone can apply), Invite (Private Invitation). The benefits to joining or creating your own Guild is proven mmo strategies and better friendships. An organized team with assigned roles is a force to be reckoned with. Read through the different Guild mission statements and if none appeal to your taste create your own Guild. Each Guild group can create bulletins and group emails that will help keep you in sync. Plus you may add your Guild comrades to your profile Connections for a simple buddy list.
