Getting ready for the game. What are your Gaming PC specs?

I'd love to put mine up, but I don't even know what they are myself and I'm not sure how to check them. ^^;

I also would be more than happy to put my specs up there, so here it is.

In the process of building a new computer for the games coming out later this year and even more because of SGW. So i got a question, how do you like the performance of that overclocked 6700 quad? Was looking into that model myself. Also, is the unreal3 engine for SGW going to utilize all 4 cores?

Not one game, coming out this year as to my knowledge, is going to utilize all four cores, just like when a computer says it has 2 gigs of ram and is expandable to 4, it never truly uses even all 2 gigs unless your running a server. The speed of the quad core is superb. I run multiple programs on Multiple moniters and it keeps up excellent.

Yeah, I see that all of the unreal engine 3 games that are out and coming out later this year have ground up quad core support. As well as company of heroes, medal of honor: airborn, crysis, bioshock...ect. I guess that could mean it "utilizes" quads at least somewhat. I'll probably go with one and just overclock it a bit to 3ghz.

My wife has similar specs on her gaming lappie, except hers has HD-DVD. We mostly play in bed (no comments from the peanut gallery!) on laptop trays. Nothing like gaming while laying back on the Sleep Number Bad (Sleep Number 45-55). Enough details?

Luckily my wife is also a big Stargate fan. It took a kiss from Chris (see below) to make her a fan, but now she's almost addicted as I am!




I have a couple more gaming desktops that I'm currently upgrading, one is an old Voodoo PC F-Class that is 6 years old, but I'm gutting as the case is gorgeous. The other is a gaming box that I built for my wife that I have in my recording studio. The tech is a few years old so that one is ready to be gutted as well.

Other than the few other desktops and lappies we have that I know won't run the game, I'm hoping to have 4 machines running SGW...gotta have a couple boxes going incase friends come over and want to play ya know!

WoW, Pande, i salute your dedication to stargate worlds through having multiple computers being able to run it. I don't have the money to do the same at the momemnt, so I'll be happy to have one running it. I have a question for your wife, did she ask chris if she could kiss him on the cheek?
