She's wicked... Sounds like she has good "advancement options" within the Goa'uld, if she can keep her head among the 'greater' Goa'uld (stronger, System Lords, etc)... and maintain control over her Jaffa... I here there is an uprising brewing...

Yep. One of the fun things about Stargate is that they integrate r/l and myth into it. I'm doing both with Artemis. She was the patron Goddess of the Spartans as the Huntress incarantion which is the one I'm going for. She also was the Goddess of Childbirth (strangely enough for a Virgin Goddess) and the Moon.

For those that don't know Lycurgus was apparently a historical figure that was credited with setting up the spartan senate and military and writing the laws. The only things that have survived though are mostly legends. One of the legends involves the loss of an eye but I made my own legend for that. lol

His pupil was in fact a future King of Sparta. He managed to also become regent.

Awesome job indeed! the integration of history into the formation of RP adds "viability" and a certain aspect of "truth"... Connections to 'real things' that many can recognize causes you to gain the wealth of that history/legend/etc into your own RP, therefore making it "larger" in scope.

In short: Great use of history to enhance your RP.

Build a Guild

A Guild is just an organized group of gamers with a common theme or mission. Guilds should have a Banner Logo (128px) and can be joined three ways...Open (Anyone), Approval (Anyone can apply), Invite (Private Invitation). The benefits to joining or creating your own Guild is proven mmo strategies and better friendships. An organized team with assigned roles is a force to be reckoned with. Read through the different Guild mission statements and if none appeal to your taste create your own Guild. Each Guild group can create bulletins and group emails that will help keep you in sync. Plus you may add your Guild comrades to your profile Connections for a simple buddy list.
