I'll post once I get my head around the character I'd like to rp. Prelimnary is its a Ga'ould named Artemis.

I read your blog, Taslo- great job! I look forward to reading more about the Lt.
Artemis.. do you plan to play your Goa'uld modeled after the Huntress? If so.. I think Osiris has some competition coming "her" way. *laugh*

Hopefully the RP community will be a great one, working with/against (in a RP sense) eachother and generating some great storylines... in addition or expanding from the SGW IG ones. I think networking/working with other guilds and such is a great way to really accentuate the RP and make the game even more fun.

Tas- I'm pretty sure I want to make a character on the otherside after a bit. I think an SGC Archeologist would be fun. I might try Asgard eventually idk.

I think you'd play a Jaffa ok or a Tok'ra Tas.

I'd like to call myself an RPer, though I'm going to need to talk to a friend at school before I flesh out my character, as he knows all the SG canon.

*waves* Hello peoples! I am also a RPer! And quite excited to have found this community web site... and be directed to the RP forum by Kya She so nice...

So far I'm planning on an SGC human either soldier or commando with a neat bit of history that I've yet to flesh out fully. As well as nail down the personality attributes...

Artemis... your RP sounds awesome! So you're joining the System Lords? I had heard they might be a cool RP Goa'uld guild, but hadn't really looking into them enough to recommend. *grins* I only know me and mine.
BUT the System Lords look like a cool guild, based on their application questions. I love how serious they seem to take RP and seem very excited and motivated to make a great nemesis guild to the SGC.
I look forward to... erm... *coughs* meeting you... in game... *looks away, powering up a zat*... mmm yah.

I am also considering rolling a Goa'uld or Loyal Jaffa (maybe both!). Nothing is more fun than 'dwelling in the dark side' for a bit and being a power-mongering tyrant with glowy eyes (or their faithful minion)! (just as long as the oppression is all in fun and people remain cool OOC. Always a concern when ya deal with the Dark Side: people misunderstanding your RP or people using RP to be a jerk.)
But for now... I am planning on playing a Tok'Ra archeologist... or one that was formerly Tok'Ra (ala Jolinar/Rosha-Sam)... depending on how well the game makes such logical (since Tok'Ra are not PC options).
But... such is the fun and challenge of good of RP..

Thanks. Most of the people I've Rped with seem to like me. Yes I think the System Lords should preve fun if I get in since I'd have an Apollo ( artemis's twin in greek myth) and Leto ( her mother) to play with/against. I'll be a minor Goa'uld if accepted (crossing my fingers)and am totally up for making a few enemies lol.

Believe me I know there may be some misunderstandings. Though Artemis will be my first 100% villian I do play an anti-hero that borders on evil in FFXI. I had some wondering if I was really as much as a jerk irl as she was but they got to know me. Now she's kind of a favorite character, of many OOC though most ICly hate her lol.
