Curious to hear what games (computer games specifically) people are playing while waiting for the release of stargate worlds. For myself, I've quit the all MMO's, tried a few after they destroyed SW:G but I'm a sci-fi fan and couldn't get into any fantasy games. So, right now I'm still playing Battlefield 2 a bit with friends, and some Star Wars: Empire at War/expansion lately. Sometimes I'll play Rome: total war when in the mood. But basically I've been bummed about games recently. Other than stargate worlds I'm waiting for starcraft II, been anticipating that sequel for 10 years. So, what games are people playing right now while they wait? if any?

I went a bit retro and played through Half Life 2, and Episode One recently. Best games I have played. After I finish this site going back to HF2 Episode 2. Then in the lineup it is:
Stargate Worlds (Of course)
Crysis
Gears of War
Bioshock
COD4
UT3
Company of Heroes
NFS Prostreet
Played all the Battlefields for a while...then needed a change. Actually enjoyed GR Advanced Warfighter.
Recently switched to Vista Ultimate 32...games still run beautifully. Slight hit in the benchmarks but much more stable than XP for me.

You reminded me of a couple other games I forgot to mention. Company of heroes/opposing fronts and world in conflict are two other games I play here and there with people on the battlefield 2 tour of duty teamspeak.

At the moment, I'm playing my Pokemon games as always, and I'm also playing Command and Conquer the first decade. Prior to getting grounded I was palying Ragnarok Online. Oh, and Advance Wars Days of Ruin. The Wi-fi features are very good. My win loss tie record is like 10-10-2

lets see, i play
Lord of the rings online, though not as much as i have in the past
Counter Strike: Source
Civilization 4, with and without mods yay go Canada Mod ^^
My xbox360, just random games hehe
and i quit Final Fantasy XI and WoW because of SGW
another game i cant wait for that i think will come out around the same time as SGW if not abit sooner is a game called "Spore"

I've been waiting for Spore since like '04. I'm going to take a random guess and say that it doesn't come out till 2012. lol Considering the complexity of the game, it's possible that it won't.

Well my good man i have news for you release date was announced last week some time i think. its Sept 7th 2008 woot hehe but yeah looks fun as hell and engrossing would be an understatement hehe.

I am currently playing WoW - Not a whole lot lately and will likely cancel my account soon, SWG - Yes it is weaker than at launch but I think it's still fun. Also playing C&C Tiberium on the PC. Playing Legend of Zelda on Wii, God of War II and Star Wars Starfighter on PS2, Bio-Shock, Mass Effect, Marvel Ultimate Alliance and The Darkness on Xbox 360. Also playing a little Republic Commando and Halo 3 on the side.

Which C&C Tiberium? Tiberium refers to the Tiberium universe in C&C. The most recent is C&C:3 Tiberium Conflict I think it was. There was also C&C and C&C:2 Tiberian Sun in that universe. (The other universes are Red Alert and Generals)

A Guild is just an organized group of gamers with a common theme or mission. Guilds should have a Banner Logo (128px) and can be joined three ways...Open (Anyone), Approval (Anyone can apply), Invite (Private Invitation). The benefits to joining or creating your own Guild is proven mmo strategies and better friendships. An organized team with assigned roles is a force to be reckoned with. Read through the different Guild mission statements and if none appeal to your taste create your own Guild. Each Guild group can create bulletins and group emails that will help keep you in sync. Plus you may add your Guild comrades to your profile Connections for a simple buddy list.
