The Tari are long overdue when it comes engineering energy based (one handed)weapons. I mean we can build ships capable of travel to other galaxy's but can't create a decent energy weapon? Don't sound right to me man.
Although Atlantis has made the jump using Ancient and Wraith stunners, neither series has yet to develop one of they're own. (Other then the ones used against Kull Warriors and Replicators, yet still haven't made an all purpose field weapon.)
Maybe we should let some scientist study Ronon's gat for a bit? lol

I think the P90 has just become such a icon of the shows Tau'ri that they are reluctant to change to energy weapons and be just like any of the other races of the shows. Besides, energy weapons are basically slow firing. None of the energy weapons have the rapid fire of a P90. The real bonus of some of the energy weapons is the ability to stun in one shot like the zat or ronons weapon. Which is probably why they carry around zats all the time anymore. Its a perfect sidearm, semiautomatic without needing to pierce armor. A tau'ri energy rifle would be really cool i have to admit though.

Remember that the ships they have, all the technology they have, was one way or another had alien technology incroporated into it. Like the Hyper drives, the engines, weapons, all done by the asgard.

A Guild is just an organized group of gamers with a common theme or mission. Guilds should have a Banner Logo (128px) and can be joined three ways...Open (Anyone), Approval (Anyone can apply), Invite (Private Invitation). The benefits to joining or creating your own Guild is proven mmo strategies and better friendships. An organized team with assigned roles is a force to be reckoned with. Read through the different Guild mission statements and if none appeal to your taste create your own Guild. Each Guild group can create bulletins and group emails that will help keep you in sync. Plus you may add your Guild comrades to your profile Connections for a simple buddy list.
