It looks like Amanda tapping will be starring in a new television series which prevented her from being leader of the Atlantis expedition, which is why Woosley is taking over.

You and me both. I hadn't even heard of this series untill I started digging for information about why she wasn't coming back to Stargate Atlantis. I thikn they need to do a little more advertise.

this has been out for over a year now or so, it was the first made for net only show. think they have only done 8 or so webisodes to date there not to bad either, will see a few familier faces from the stargate shows in there also. maybe they got enough support to start making TV episodes of it and thats why she not coming back to SGA next year or maybe they just going to make more webisodes.

They got picked up for a 13 episode season by the Sci fi channel as a television series.

You know you can go the website and watch for your self. They are WEBisodes. I haven't seen it, but from the preview, it looks good.
